Privacy Policy

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• —Your Twitter/X login credentials or OAuth tokens
• —Your direct messages, private tweets, or follower lists
• —Your browsing history outside of Twitter/X
• —Any personally identifiable information (PII)
• —Your IP address or device fingerprint

filtr.tl is a browser extension that reads publicly visible tweet text from your Twitter/X feed and sends it to our server for analysis by our ML detection model (RoBERTa-based). The server returns a bot/AI probability score and the extension applies visual filtering based on your preferences.

Tweet content is processed in real-time and immediately discarded after analysis. We do not store, log, or retain any tweet content. The extension does not modify, post, like, retweet, or perform any actions on your behalf.

The only data transmitted to our server is:

• —Public tweet text visible on your feed (for bot/AI detection only)
• —Public account metadata (username, follower count, account age) for scoring

This data is processed in memory and immediately discarded. It is never written to disk, logged, stored in a database, or shared with any third party.

If you explicitly opt in via extension settings, we may collect anonymous, aggregated statistics to improve our detection models. This includes:

• —Aggregate counts of filtered vs. non-filtered tweets (no content)
• —Detection model accuracy feedback (thumbs up/down on filtering decisions)
• —Extension version and browser type

This is strictly opt-in. The extension is fully functional without it. You can disable it at any time.

If you purchase a Pro subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive a subscription status and email address to manage your account. We do not store your credit card details.

All extension settings, whitelists, blocklists, and filtering preferences are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. We have no access to this data. If you uninstall the extension, this data is deleted.

The extension communicates with filtr.tl servers solely for bot/AI detection analysis. It does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Chrome may perform automatic update checks via the Chrome Web Store.

filtr.tl is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
